Let’s face it. Developing a clear value proposition is hard work. It takes an understanding of your Customer’s needs, your Company’s solution, and even your Competitor’s strengths and weaknesses. Once you’ve done all the work, use it! Make the value proposition the “Golden Thread” that runs through all of your customer communications.

In this presentation, Mark Wigginton will talk about building a value proposition that answers the question “Why us instead of them?”. He’ll bring practical action steps you can use to build discriminators, win themes, and the value proposition.

Since 2001, Mark Wigginton has worked at Shipley Associates providing training, coaching, and consulting to business development executives and teams. He recently stepped down from his role as a Regional Vice President as he prepares for a new adventure in 2023. He works with a broad array of clients as an Executive Advisor, Strategy Consultant, and Capture Coach.

Mark is an active member of APMP and is APMP-certified as a Capture Practitioner as well as a Bid and Proposal Practitioner. He frequently leads APMP Foundation Certification courses and presents regularly at APMP chapter events.

Mark is based in Austin, TX where he shares an office with his dog buddy (and a very good boy!) Simon.
